The Allina health Heart Safe Communities program aims to work with communities to increase the survival rates of people who experience sudden cardiac arrest. Allina has developed easy-to-use awareness and education opportunities, provided and assisted with CPR and AED trainings, and worked to place AEDs in places where people live, work, worship, and play through providing grants, discounted AED packages, and replacement equipment.
